Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television series Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. After her parents divorced, she moved with her mom in Los Angeles. Although she was struggling financially and in the beginning, she made her acting debut as Rachel's Room's principal character. In the following year, she was awarded a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 for her performance as fifteen-year-old victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder which aired in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford was the lead actor in Lost in its two initial seasons. In 2004, she was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award with the entire ensemble. Grace was keen to pursue film following her role as Tom Welling's character in The Fog, in 2005. The actress has also appeared on Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 as well as in Taken opposite Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. Her role was reprised in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern version to Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace was back on the Lost series for the last two episodes as Shannon. Grace was a part of the show's sixth season that aired from 2013 until the year 2014. She plays Faith as a girl who serves as a model for celebrities and attracts the eye of Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Gyllenhaal is a member of her family, and is the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her acting career started as a young teenager as she was cast in minor parts in a few films directed that her father directed. In addition, she was a part of her brother on the 2001 cult movie Donnie Darko. Later, she was on the screen in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her performance in the erotic romantic comedy Secretary (2002) as well as the dramatic Sherrybaby (2006) both of which brought her an Golden Globe Award nomination. The Dark Knight, which came out in 2008 following numerous highly successful films, including World Trade Center (2006) and World Trade Center (2006), earned Gyllenhaal more fame. After her successful performance as an unmarried mother on the screen in Crazy Heart (2009), she earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
